Unnatural Generosity

Giving is one way we practice the kind of open-handed life we want River City to be known for.

River City is supported by the generosity of members and regular attenders. If you are new or just visiting, please do not feel any pressure to give. We are glad you are here.

We want to be a people marked by sacrifice. Members at River City consistently give their time, emotional capacity, and money, and financial generosity is one important way we help empower the Gospel in our church family, our city, and beyond.

We are using Planning Center Giving so regular attenders can give simply and securely. Above all else, it is the heart that matters.

Why We Give

We do not want generosity to be reduced to money, but money is one real way the Gospel is resourced.

At River City, generosity shows up in time, emotional capacity, hospitality, practical care, and financial giving. We want the whole church to grow into that open-handed life together.

Unnatural Generosity

We want generosity to be one of the clearest marks of life at River City.

Jesus is the most generous person in the history of the world. As He changes us, we want that generosity to push us beyond where we are comfortable for the good of our church family, our neighbors, and the work of the Gospel.

A Distinctive Mark

Unnatural generosity is one of the traits we want River City to be known for as the Gospel forms us into a people who are open-handed toward one another and our city.

Time, Resources, And Emotional Capacity

Members at River City are called to be generous not only with money, but with time, emotional capacity, hospitality, and practical care.

Money Helps Empower The Gospel

Financial generosity is one important way we support preaching, discipleship, care, hospitality, mercy ministry, and the work of proclaiming the Gospel to our city and ourselves.
